Hey, p.s. just today I got turned down by another potential doula client, who decided to go with her mom as labour support instead--totally great decision and don't blame her atall! BUT in the process of emailing this woman I realized that I DON'T want to be a childbirth educator! Which is funny because in doulaing for your friend you realized you DON'T want to midwife! Or, I think, doula? Can't remember if doulaing was in or out. Anyways, thought I'd share! Funny insight! I far prefer to save my energy for women who are already into natural childbirth....which feels totally unfair, since I benefitted so much from your educating ME! But we all have gifts and roles to play.
Anywas, I really wanted to let you know I'm hovering around the computer awaiting your email or blogpost that labour has started! Praying lots for you, and waiting in excited anticipation!!! Thanks for sharing your journey with us!
