The Beginning

Christmas Morning we got an extra special gift- in the form of a faint but unmistakable line on a home pregnancy test.

We will become a family of five in early September 2009!

We are thrilled to be welcoming another baby into our home. This is an incredible blessing, an amazing gift, and an honour. I'm so looking forward to everything this pregnancy brings. Especially the baby ;)

I haven't got obvious pregnancy symptoms yet; however I do have some very subtle signs. About 5 days before the pregnancy was confirmed I had some heart palpatations and felt very out of breath from minor exertion. I felt that way fairly often when I was pregnant with Eva and I think it has to do with increased blood volume. Also my tastes have changed very slightly. I had more than the normal monthly bloating, and I feel shaky and weak in the mornings. I also had a stretch of crankiness that kind of surprised me. No fatigue yet; in fact I feel quite energetic! I'm sure that will change in the next week or so.
